I am very blessed that God has given me this work to do. I have no idea how long it will take; but with the Lord, I know that these things can happen faster than expected.  And he has given me the mind to do it.  The songs listed here have been written or recorded. New songs for this
update:  an early version of Psalm 119, and Metal Apocalypse Sample (Chap. 17)
 
I have not been doing much serious recording the first half of this year.  I did record one track for the book of Isaiah project but it did not sound right, my preamp died and I think that was part of the fallout... I really should be working on Baptizer of Fire. I really hope to change that (pray for me),  I have been writing some, if you look below on the left you will find that I have added 14 chapters to the Book of Isaiah Project (which is now called "The Vision of Isaiah") and I have now reached the half way point of the writing (33 of 66 chapters written)  I'm considering lowering my standards even further and releasing low quality tracks of Isaiah,  I just replaced my preamp but the new one was 1/6th the cost of the old and the difference in quality is very apparent. (You will see when these tracks start to come out).
 
The Book of Apocalypse UPDATE:  Well I have in my possession the most state of the art midi samples of orchestral instruments and I have realized I just do not know how to use them effectively, so in the meantime I have begun work on an old High School dream of mine, HEAVY METAL APOCALYPSE, (that would be the Book of Revelation done in heavy metal style).  The preliminary tracks sound good. One new Song is a 12th Anniversary edition of the Song of Moses, The Song of Moses 2008 I wanted to replace the old version because when I was 21 and I made some regrettable and unnecessary translation errors.  I think that anyone who is a fan of the Song of Moses is going to love this long overdue
update.
 
The other new song is Isaiah Chapter 66.  I'm releasing a live performance of this song from late last year.  Normally I would not put out a song with a big mistake in it; but my wife successfully argued it's merits so here it is.

The new songs are Jeremiah Chapter 23 live (it has to be one of my favorites) and John Chapter 8.  I considered also adding my scratch recording of my new Album, Psalm 119, temporarily until I got a satisfactory recording, but I'm going to wait.   I have a bunch of songs wanting to be recorded including Isaiah 1, 58, 63, 64, 65, 66, as well as elements of the "Baptizer of Fire" (John 14 15 16 17) album and "Like a Hammer" (New Deut 32, 1Jn 4, Eze13, Jer 23), and  Psalm 119 (. 

I do have recordings of all these newer songs but they were hastily done "scratch" recordings or poor quality live recordings.  If I do not make some serious headway in recording these, soon, I will then release the other versions I already possess.

I have also added a section to the Shepherd's Chapel page featuring emails and responses.

I added a new section below on the left column.  You can see the new link to the right.  "All Songs Listed In Canonical Order"  It is just a list of all the songs but in "Bible Order."

I've done a lot of live performing but not much recording, I'd like to turn that back around.  I wrote a few new songs over the last year, this year I hope to write many more.  But especially I pray that the grace of God be given me to finish the works I have already begun.

Also, if there is something you would like to see on this site (like the chords to a certain song) but you don't see it.  It is a good idea to email me about it because if no one asks for something then I assume there is not much interest so I make it a low priority.  If I hear from someone who wants something, it instantly becomes a high priority, that was how Psalm 38 got made, someone wrote me and told me it was their favorite psalm. That inspired me.

    My musical roots are in heavy metal, since I was a child I have been fascinated with the book of Revelation, as a teenager I attempted to start an album based on  the Apocalypse.  I did not get very far, but I did write the hook for a single verse which I will use to kick off this exciting (at least for me) new project: ..."Babylon the Great the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth."
     
    So far I have been working with midi in order to lay out the songs, but the finished product will use real instruments.  As the Lord would have it, I have been recently reunited with the guitarist from "The Battle Hymn of David and Goliath"  so he will be providing the real guitar.  If only I could find a drummer....
