No. What I'm saying is that it is ironic for someone to use the title "Doctor" who always said that his "credentials" were his "ability to teach."  It is even more ironic if he is not really a doctor. NOT that I care if he is actually a Doctor or not.  I'm not impressed by Doctors or Reverends.  Being a Doctor does not impress me, not being a doctor does not make him less.  What makes him less is the fact that Pastor Murray talks out of both sides of his mouth, he says his credentials are his abilities but then for years he put out tapes with "Dr. Arnold Murray" on them. 

 

I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT HE DOES NOT LIKE TO TALK MUCH ABOUT HIMSELF/GLORIFY HIMSELF AS TO HIS CREDENTIALS SO AS NOT TO TAKE AWAY FROM GOD'S WORD.

 

Bull.  This is another case where he talks out of both sides of his mouth.  He tells you he does not like to talk about himself, but he does talk about himself all the time.  It wouldn't be a big deal if he talked about himself, everyone does sometimes but he says he doesn't, that is what makes it BULL..  "I'm a marine seargent"  "I'm president of this network."  "I fly an airplane"  "I like to get out and plow fields for fun"  "I never beg for money" (BUT HE ALWAYS HAS HIS HAND OUT)  ETC ETC ETC.   His teachings are very much about him and his philosophy. 

 

THIS IS REALLY SPLITTING HAIRS AS TO WHETHER OR NOT HE IS A DOCTOR AS IT IS REALLY IRRELEVANT.

 

Pastor Murray could have avoided all the controversy by putting his money where his mouth is and had let his credentials be his abilities instead of calling himself Doctor. But since he did not do that, if he really is a Doctor, he could still eliminate the controversy by simply providing information about his Doctorate.  It wouldn't change a thing for me, but he is the one who could end all the controversy about that with a simple disclosure.  The guy attempted to publicize himself as having obtained a doctorate, so why shouldn't he be willing to make known publicly the proof of his foolish boasting.

 

This is a fine example of how Pastor Murray conveniently becomes "a very private person"  when it comes to supporting his claims to being a Doctor (what is so private about that? He printed "Doctor" on all his old tapes! Didn't seem like he was trying to keep that doctorate a secret!)  But when he is bragging about his airplane, or his marine service, he doesn't seem to care much about his privacy.

HOW DO ADDRESS CHRIST IN THE NEW TESTIMATE REFERRING TO THE FACT THAT "YOU ARE JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER, THE DEVIL AND THE DEEDS OF YOUR FATHER YOU WILL DO."

 

I know who the children of the Devil are.  The Apostle John told us how to tell a child of the Devil from a child of God in VERY VERY clear terms.

 

1John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

The people Jesus was speaking to were children of the devil because of their DEEDS, their SINS.  You want to judge people based on their blood.  I can't think of anything LESS CHRISTIAN.  Wake up.

He was plain but you are reading TOO MUCH into his words.  He said "You are of your father the Devil"  He did not say, "You, your children, your grandchildren, your ancestors, your whole bloodline are the children of the Devil, "

 

Also, when he talks about the "children of the kingdom"  does that mean that someone had sex with the kingdom?

God's SEED? Does that literally mean that you have God's sperm in you?

 

And don't call me profane, your doctrine is profane.  And furthermore it is a lie.  The men whom Jesus was speaking to were the CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM LITERALLY, they could not be Abraham's children spiritually, because they did not do the works of Abraham, but Jesus plainly calls them "Abraham's seed"  he could only have meant the LITERALLY.  That is all it could mean.  Period.

 

John 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Jesus said they were Abraham's seed, he could only be referring to the FLESH.  Wake up.

Did Cain do it because he had the devil's blood?  You have been seduced by the synagogue of SATAN.  The Shepherd's Chapel is the Synagogue of Satan, they claim to be the real Jews but they are a bunch of LIARS.  Pastor Murray does not descend from the lost tribes of Israel, he is a descendant of nature worshipping pagans and he ought to have taken care not to be so boastful against the branches (The Jews)

I suppose that is supposed to be an insult?  What is the point?  "A frustrated musician" could be the answer to the question "What are you?"  But that is not WHO I am. And what do I have to do with it?  I talk plenty about myself,  if you are so interested in me you should try to become my disciple. Shepherd's Chapel Students can't stand against me (because they are void of the Spirit) so they try to make the argument about me personally, instead of about the scriptures. Even if I am the biggest monster on the earth, that still cannot save your doctrines from the light.

 

NOT MUCH CRED IN MY OPINION.

 

You people are such hypocrites, really, that is pathetic.  Always taking the low road.  I don't go around calling myself a Doctor publicly and then refuse to prove it publicly.  Pastor Murray says, "I have always said my credentials are my ability to teach."  Yes, and then he turns around and calls himself a Doctor, what a hypocrite.  "I never beg for money."  And then he turns around and puts a price on his teachings bringing in a nice profit.  Not that I'm saying it is wrong to earn a living from the ministry, but he says (implies) it is wrong, and he brags about it, that is what makes him a hypocrite, because the Shepherd's Chapel has made him a very rich man. "I never take a dime for teaching"  but as president of this network... is he entitled to take a salary?  You know what they call that?  A Hypocrite.

I did not say it, The Apostle John said it.  If you think the bible is ridiculous, then maybe you should try the Koran.  Throughout this message you display a certain CONTEMPT for the scriptures.  I would hope that you would examine yourself in that regard.  You speak contemptuously of the ideas communicated by the scriptures.  Just what kind of Christian are you?

No, wrong, we are not that is not what the bible teaches.  "Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin."  Since you and I commit sin, then obviously, neither of us have been born of God. 2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

 

I do not claim to have perfected holiness, but I do believe that with God's help it must be possible because the bible says so, and the bible requires it of us.  I don't claim to be perfect, but I accept that God expects me to become that way.  If that makes you mad then it is probably because you have an evil conscience.  And if that statement makes you mad then you definitely have one.

 

THE GOOD/BAD AND THE UGLY RIGHT?

 

No, we are not all God's children.   We have the power to BECOME the sons of God.  You know that thing about the earth "became"  without form and void?  (and I don't disagree)  But if you understand that "became without form and void" does not mean "was created withoutform and void."

 

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

 

To become the sons of God means that we were not CREATED that way.  All things are created by God and so even the bugs and the fishes are his children in that sense.  But to become a son of God is to be adopted as one.  Humans were never angels in "the world that was" Humans begin their existence in the womb, as the scriptures teach..  You have been conditioned to read into the bible fantasies and fables favored by Arnold Murray.

 

YOU ARE NOT A SINNER AND NEITHER AM I RIGHT?

 

If we want to be born again as the Sons of God, we cannot be sinners.  So we have to be changed. All our sin means is that we are children of the devil, or at least that we look like children of the devil at the moment.  It is a good thing the Lord told the reapers to wait until harvest to remove the tares.  Otherwise we might be mistaken for tares.

No, that is the bible and I will thank you to speak respectfully of the things the Apostles taught.  You may be a follower of this Arnold Murray fellow, but you will answer for your words about the teachings of the Apostles, so watch your tongue.  I didn't really offer an interpretation to that scripture, I just repeated what it said.  You need to have a healthy fear of God and reverence his word.

No, the bible does not contradict itself in this.  You contradict the bible.  Your philosophy contradicts the bible.  You are confused because you think your philosophy of "no one can be perfect" is in the bible.  But the bible teaches that we must be perfect.  Pastor Murray deceives you in this by contradicting the bible,  You believe him because he says the words that tickle your ears "you don't have to be perfect" but the bible says the opposite.

That is what the grace of God taught me, what did Arnold Murray teach you?

No.  Wrong.  When I was at the chapel getting married the Wednesday following the 1995 Passover meeting, the only question I asked him was how he dealt with the pressure of all those people crowding him and making demands of him.  Many months earlier I asked him in a letter if the name Sennacherib had any connection to "Cherub"  (which I could have looked up in Smith's bible dictionary).  Anyways, your psychic abilities leave much to be desired.

Pastor Murray was very nice to me when I stayed in Gravette.  David Murray videotaped my wedding, they were all very nice to us, I have no personal grudge against the man. http://oraclesofgod.org/emails/special2.htm.  I personally feel bad about doing all this except for the fact that I sincerely believe that they have strayed and that, according to God, if I continued to refrain from speaking out it would be HATRED against Pastor Murray and against those that heard him.  So believe it or not, what I do I do out of love.

 

Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

 

Also, I do what I do out of HATE.  I am the seat of a powerful HATRED.  I am a passionate man of HATE.

But as pertaining to love.  If you had questions about the things you believed, if you wrote Pastor Murray, do you think he would answer you the detailed way I do?  Do you think he would put up with your insults and ignorance? Lately, I spend more time answering emails daily than he does teaching.

Between the segments he plays those commercials for the recorded versions of the studies for people to buy. "For a $$$$donation to the Chapel." He used to end the broadcast by saying, "We are brought to you by your tithes and offerings," "If we have been a blessing to you , please help us keep this broadcast coming to you."  (or something like that, his hand clearly OUT)

 

Taken alone, there is nothing wrong with that stuff.  A servant is worthy of his hire.  Thou shalt not muzzle the Ox that treads out the corn and all that.  It is because he makes such a big deal "I'll never beg."  but he begs every day, he just does not do it like a beggar.  He is basically doing a different style of begging.  You only think he does not beg because he SAYS he doesn't but he is always asking for money.

 

And another thing, do you know the kind of attacks I get from Chapel students over my "Donate" button? And you'll rejoice to hear that no one has ever even used that button.  But I catch all kinds of snide remarks about my donate button because Pastor Murray has a bad attitude about money (and a few other things)  By the things he teaches his disciples he makes it a sin for anyone else to do the same things he does, that is HYPOCRISY.

Yep, I know you don't see it.  But that is what it is.  I won't argue that he has a very pleasant way of asking for money.  But ask he does, his hand is OUT.  And while there is nothing in the bible that makes it a sin...HE MAKES IT A SIN SO HE IS A SINNER IN IT.

 

It would not be such a big deal if he was not such a hypocrite in it. Why not just do his own style of asking for money and let people notice the difference?  But he can't leave it at that, he has to compare himself and exaggerate how much better he is.

I have also wondered about that.  Did God provide extra DNA?  Or was it crafted within Mary?  Who knows, but I really don't see what that has to do with the following statement you make.  Furthermore, what this illustrates is your need for a broader base of knowledge in the scriptures.  You are using your imagination and appealing to the mysterious, but that is not going to establish your position

Not true.  That is not how the bible speaks.  We are all his "children" in the sense that he created us all, and that would include the Devil and his children and fallen angels and demons, oxen, sheep and goats, too.  All are his children, but that is only in a certain sense.  When the bible starts to talk about SEED it is a very specific thing.  There is a doctrine of seeds.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA AS TO WHAT THE "SERPENTS SEED" IS?

 

The serpents seed is sin.  Romans 7:5 tells us that the motions of sins work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.  Death is the fruit of sin and sin is the seed of Satan.   The seed of God brings forth righteousness. You ought to know these things but instead you have been giving heed to FABLES.

 

AN APPLE SEED?????

 

This is a pathetic and weak tactic.  A straw-man is easy to knock down.  And that is what this "Apple" is.  This is a straw -man.  Who believes Eve ate and Apple?  Who teaches that?  Give me one example.  I have never heard that taught outside of fairy tales.

No, I believe what the bible says.  I believe that there was a real tree that bare real fruit and that fruit was called the "fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."  And it apparently had miraculous power, as described in Genesis. The power to open men's eyes.  I have never seen one of these trees and as far as I know there was never another tree like it. But the bible surely says that the tree actually grew from the ground strongly implying that it was a real tree and therefore the fruit was a real fruit.

 

Let me ask you this, if it was not a fruit, then why did the bible say it was?

 

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

 

The two special trees also GREW, they were planted in the ground like other trees. 

 

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

 

Whatever grew on that tree was good for food.  I'm embarrassed that I let some man talk me out of what the bible says and into a salacious story of sexual intrigue.  The story ADDS nothing to you. 

 

If I were you I'd be scared that I'm blindly following a guy that teaches me to disregard what the bible says in favor of the stuff he says, THAT is cultic. Why don't you check me out, it is free and if what I'm saying is not biblical then being a diligent student of the scriptures you should have no problem figuring out if what I say is true.  I teach the bible, Pastor Murray uses the bible to teach.  That is a big difference.  My bible studies are not about Pastor Murray, they are about the doctrine of Christ, listen and get on the right track, that is about all I can offer you.

Why should I answer your questions?  You have shown yourself to be unworthy of any respect.  I have been answering your questions, and now you start saying that I have not answered questions that I did answer (not only that, you do not respond to my points).  I have no respect for you. You do not deserve an answer, you will not get an answer.  I generally answer my enemies, for their sake and for the sake of the people who read my webpage.   I have answered you but you have behaved like a swine and therefore you get no more pearls.  Any questions I do answer here are for other people who are actually going to read this.

That is not the point.  Your lack of attention to detail is well documented.  In our conversation you have asked me the same two questions twice even though I clearly answered you.  So it does not surprise me if you have failed to pick up on all Pastor Murray's talking about himself (not his personal life, I mean talking about himself).  And not that it is wrong to talk about yourself, but he says he doesn't, and does, that is what makes it hypocrisy.

You would know about my history as it pertains to God.  You wouldn't find out that I coach kids wrestling, but that is a matter of public record, because I have to pass a criminal background check.  You have been conditioned to think Pastor Murray's ways are right, but his personal views on privacy are not biblical.  All his secrecy ought to raise red flags but he has all of you proud of him for hiding his financial and personal life. 

 

Personal conduct and behavior matters.  Pastor Murray keeps secret because he has secrets to keep.

This paragraph is not going to appear on my website, and I'm telling you here because I won't print this stuff on my website because my website is not about this kind of stuff, but I have got emails from a credible lady who has gone to Arkansas and alleges sexual misconduct on the part of Pastor Murray, He threw himself at her in a hotel room and after she refused his advances all the folks at the chapel treated her like a child molester.

You are your own judge.  And the verdict is written in your words.  You are spiritually bankrupt.  And I will gladly submit to being judged by the same standard.  The bible says we ought to "judge righteous judgment" and that judgment ought not be left undone (John 7 and Matt 23)  "Judge not that ye be not judged" means that whatever standard of judgment you use on other is going to be applied to you, I accept that.

I'll make a note of that. Look I don't like Obama any more than anyone,  I wish he was gone yesterday (Hey, I voted for Ron Paul in '08).  But I never read that in the scripture and I couldn't care less who says that it says that.  Do me a favor, when that does not happen, note the ones who said it would, and have nothing to do with them.
