I have received numerous emails regarding the page I wrote: The Shepherd's Chapel and Dr. Arnold Murray. This is where I'm making these discussions public. This is also an opportunity for anyone who wishes to deconstruct my criticism of the Chapel to have their say. I promise I will post even the most convincing Pro-Shepherd's Chapel material, unedited (except in cases of profanity or vulgarity) and respond to it (allow 6-8 weeks for delivery!). So please send me your rebuttals, just think of all the people who could be turned aside from Dr. Murray's teaching because no one responded to me.

Clarifications:
Do You think Dr. Murray is Intentionally Misleading People? The short of it: No. (But I Do Think God Is Intentionally Misleading Dr. Murray)
This has come up a few times (not just in email) People have the impression that I think Dr. Murray is knowingly misleading people. One Shepherd's Chapel student, in a phone conversation, told me, "That is what it seems like." I think that this is because I hold Dr. Murray personally responsible for his misteachings.
The question is this: if someone misteaches the Bible, ignorantly, will they be held responsible by God?
The answer is yes,
Ezekiel 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
If God causes a man to be blind to the truth and that man teaches the scriptures and speaks in the name of the Lord. God will hold him accountable.
1 Cor 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
If false prophets like Dr. Murray really knew what they were doing, then they would not do it. That is why God hides the truth from them.
